Go Fish Alaska!
Beautiful Home Rental in Kenai, AK

Our Home is Your Home

This beautiful new home home rental is in Soldotna, Alaska. It sits on 2 secluded and private acres and is located only 1 mile from the world famous Kenai, Russian and Moose Rivers. The home is 5 years old, has 1800 square feet and comes complete with all modern and new conveniences including new comfortable beds, a gourmet kitchen, and wood furniture beams and accents. It is located 1 mile from the main road into Kenai and Soldotna, Alaska on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula – 70 miles from Homer and Seaward, Alaska, and 100 miles from Anchorage.

My family and I have been visiting Alaska for over 25 years. We can tailor your experience to match your exact budget and needs. In today's economy we pride ourself on listening to what your dream vacation consists of and helping to make it happen.

If it's Big King salmon you've been waiting a life time to retrieve we can tell you where to find them on a self-guided tour. We have all the gear you'll need and will show you how to rig it for best results. We can also arrange for your trip the best Charter Captain on the Kenai – a local guide that has been guiding for 30+ years on and around the Kenai River and is a full time Alaska resident.

A little known local's secret – while our fishing is nearly always magnificent some of the best dates to visit are between June 20th through July 4th for the salmon early run. Not as many people migrate to Alaska for the early run of Reds and Kings, but trust me when I say, the fish are abundant – NO combat fishing on these dates ;) The run most people are familiar with is the later run, starting the 1st of July through the 15th of August for Reds and the Big HOGS – the famous King salmon season will close the 31st of July. It is not uncommon to hook a 60 lb. King this time of year…

We're able and happy to accommodate most any of your needs during your visit. You can rent this great house to call home, doing all of your own cooking within a fully-equipped kitchen, or my daughter and I can prepare you and your guests gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinners. We're also happy to prepare packed lunches for your Kenai adventures – as the fish are coming in the last thing you want to do is come home for lunch ;)

Site seeing tours can be booked for you in advance as well as fly fishing adventures and bear viewing expeditions. We also love to invite people in for artsy retreats at Halibut Cove – a small and beautiful island with a restaurant and art classes perfect for families. (At Halibut Cove we also run a special summer program for young teens to experience this wonderful travel experience to the fullest – incorporating arts classes, academics, fishing, and other fantastic recreational activities.)

So for you anglers, pack your coolers with an old wardrobe and join us for some relaxing fun. At the end of your holiday we'll have a big, ceremonial bon fire to burn your fishing wardrobe and send you home with plenty of amazing salmon and halibut… And most importantly some not-to-be-forgotten memories with friends and family.

For the adventure of a life time please give us a call or email – and remember GoFishAlaska.com.

Best Regards,
Julie & Montana
